PURPOSE: To obtain an antistatic film which has an antistatic coating layer which is excellent in antistatic properties and does not allow an antistaic agent contained therein to migrate to the back side by coating a polyester film with a water-base coating soln. contg. a specific polymer. CONSTITUTION: At least one side of a polyester film is coated with a water-base coating soln. contg. an antistatic agent comprising a polymer having phosphoric ester salt groups in the molecule and dried. The film is then stretched to give an antistatic film having an antistatic coating layer. An example of the antistatic agent is a (co)polymer obtd. by using at least 5mol% compd. having a double bond and a phosphoric ester salt group in the molecule. The coating soln. pref. contains the agent and a binder resin selected from among a polyester resin, an acrylic resin, and an acryl-modified polyester resin in a wt. ratio of the agent to the resin of (5:95)-(100:0). The coating layer is pref. 0.005-3μm thick. |
