PURPOSE: To produce a smooth resin plate having a uniform pattern formed thereon. CONSTITUTION: In the production of a methacrylic resin cast plate by a cell cast method, a film containing a dye or pigment or a light diffusing agent is fixed on the cell inner surface side of a support plate having a cell formed thereto and a methacrylic type monomer mixture is injected into the cell and, after the film is substantially dissolved in the monomer mixture, the monomer mixture is polymerized. |
