PURPOSE: To substantially prevent the holding of a fiber reinforced resin sheet in spite of contact with high-temp. sparks and to prevent the cracking and whitening at the edges of this sheet at the time of use by laminating impact resistant thermoplastic resin sheets on both surfaces at the edges of the fiber reinforced resin sheet. CONSTITUTION: The impact resistant thermoplastic resin sheets are laminated on both surfaces at the edges of the fiber reinforced resin sheet formed by impregnating a glass fiber base material, such as glass cloth, with an acrylate based thermosetting resin compsn., then curing the material and after these sheets are sewn, the sheets are joined by means, such as double coated tacky adhesive tapes. The edges of the fiber reinforced resin sheet are otherwise joined via the double coated tacky adhesive tapes formed with the acrylate tacky adhesive layers on both surfaces of a base. The impact resistant thermoplastic resin sheets include high mol.wt. soft polyvinyl chlorides, vinyl chloride- chlorinated ethylene copolymers, etc., having a degree of polymn. of about 1400 to 3000. The thickness of the fiber reinforced resin sheet is preferably about 0.15 to 0.27mm in terms of cold resistant performance. |
