<p>PURPOSE: To treat exhaust gas containing an offensive odor component stably and at low costs. CONSTITUTION: A microorganism fixing carrier 2 is set in a biological deodorization column 1. A water spray 3 is installed at an upper position of the carrier 2 in the column 1 to water the carrier 2, and a sprayed water tank 15 is installed below the carrier 2 to store sprayed water. A concentration sensor 6 for an offensive odor component is installed in the tank 15. The concentration of the offensive odor component in water stored in the tank 15 is measured by the sensor 6. When the concentration exceeds a standard value, a drain valve 11 is opened to discharge water in the tank 15, and a valve 12 is opened to receive purified water.</p> |
