PURPOSE: To enhance the working efficiency of taking out a clinical chart file by providing a message monitor display at the front surface of a side panel of a predetermined shelf of a rack device in a block, and by display messages indicating an operation mode of the device in its entirety within one block, a classified mode, classifications, a number of taken-out files and the like on the monitor display. CONSTITUTION: In a rack device 1 in which, for example, seven shelves are arranged in parallel, and of these shelves, a center shelf is a dural stationary shelf 2, left and right end shelves are single stationary shelves 3, 3, and shelves between the shelves 2, 3 are dual movable shelves 4. In this arrangement, power source switches 16, 16 and message monitor displays 17, 17 are provided at a front side panel 2a of the center stationary shelf 2, on the left and right sides thereof. Operation modes are displayed in different colors on each monitor display 17 which may be an LED dot-matrix display, and classifications such as a surgery, an internal medicine and an orthopedic surgery, a number of taken-out files, are displayed on the display. With this arrangement, the volume of work in the rack device in its entirety, the progress of a work, the operation mode and the like can be easily understood. |
