PURPOSE: To discharge outside a gas generated at an abnormally high pressure in a container by connecting an exhaust passage of a deformable annular member to an opening of an outer periphery of a cylindrical portion of a mountain cap to provide an exhaust port. CONSTITUTION: An upper, outside portion of a deformable annular member 5 is brought into contact with a mountain cap 1 so that the member 5 is interposed between the mountain cap 1 and the outer periphery of a housing 4, whereby a space between the cap 1 and the member 5 is always closed and when an abnormal internal pressure is generated, gas is discharged through a gap between the member 5 and the cap 1. And the gap created by the deformation of the deformable annular member 5 interposed between the cylindrical portion of the cap 1 and the outer periphery of the housing 4 serves as an exhaust passage, which passage is caused to communicate with an opening 7 provided in the outer periphery of the cylindrical portion of the cap 1 to provide an exhaust port, thereby to surely discharge abnormally high pressure gas generated in a container to the outside. |
