<p>PURPOSE: To improve the extent of car stability in time of hand-off driving by making the stability of a steering wheel so better, and simultaneously enhancing a self-centering characteristic by a control valve in time of this hand-off driving. CONSTITUTION: A resin bearing 4 is interposed between a steering shaft 2 and a steering column 3. This resin bearing 4 is composed of being interposed with a pair of resin members 4c between an inner cylinder part 4a and an outer cylinder part 4b, and this inner cylinder part (4a) side is clamped to the steering shaft 2 and the outer cylinder part (4b) side to the steering column 3, respectively. A peripheral surface of this inner cylinder part 4a is formed into section oval form. The resin member 4c is clamped to the outer cylinder part (4b) side, and at a neutral position of a steering wheel 1, it is set up in a position slidingly contacting with a length surface of the peripheral surface of the inner cylinder part 4a.</p> |
