<p>PURPOSE: To discriminate food from foreign matters even in such a case that food can not be recognized from the dimension, shape, weight and electrical characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A conveyor 8 for transferring an object to be sorted such as food in which foreign matters are mixed, the heater 3 arranged on the conveyor 8, a sensor 4 for measuring the temp. lowering rate of the object to be sorted after heating, a control unit 10 for specifying the position of a foreign matter on the conveyor 8 on the basis of the data from the sensor 4 and a suction nozzle 5 for picking up only the foreign matter at the specific position on the downstream side of the sensor 4 by the command of the control unit are provided.</p> |
