PURPOSE: To prepare a detergent compsn. which has an excellent foaming property, can produce a creamy foam, and is good to the touch with the skin or the like after washing by incorporating a particular phosphoric ester surfactant and a particular hydroxysulfobetaine. CONSTITUTION: A detergent compsn. comprising the following components (A) and (B). (A): A phosphoric ester surfactant represented by the formula I or a mixture of the phosphoric ester surfactant represented by the formula I with a phosphoric ester surfactant represented by the formula II, the weight ratio of the content of the surfactant I to the content of the surfactant II being (100:0) to (70:30). In the formulae, R<1> and R<2> are each independently a 10-18 C alkyl group, X<1> to X<3> are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal or the like; and k, m, and n are each independently 0 to 10. (B): A hydroxysulfobetaine, having an amide group, represented by the formula III (wherein R<4> is a 7-23 C satd. or unsatd. hydrocarbon group; R<5> is a hydrogen atom or a 1-4 C hydrocarbon group; R<6> and R<7> which may be the same or different represent a 1-4 C hydrocarbon group; and p is 1 to 6). |
