PURPOSE: To produce a ferrous hard-to-work alloy material containing the desired metal by the desired numeric value by mixing a pure iron powder with a ferrous hard-to-work alloy material iron powder, containing the desired metal by the amount prescribed times the desired numeric value, so that the content of the desired metal reaches the desired numeric value and then subjecting the resulting powder mixture to specific treatment. CONSTITUTION: A powder mixture is prepared by mixing a pure iron powder, in the amount where the weight ratio of the desired metal reaches the desired numeric value percent, with a ferrous hard-to-work alloy material iron powder (e.g. about 20 microns) containing the desired metal (e.g. silicon) by the amount prescribed times percent (e.g. 13%) of the desired numeric value percent (e.g. 6.5%). This powder mixture is stuck together by means of cold pressurizing sticking (e.g. cold press or cold roll) into the desired shape and then heated to the prescribed temp. by hot melting sticking means, by which the rion powder containing the desired metal and the pure iron powder are melted and stuck together and the components are evened. Further, the material is passed through a hot melting, pressurizing, and sticking means (e.g. hot roll) and pressurized and formed into a plate-like state perfectly free from blowholes. By this method, the iron plate containing the desired metal by the desired numeric value percent can be produced. |
