PURPOSE: To obtain the lightweight concrete having a high strength, and to realize the effective utilization of FRP by its recyclization. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing the lightweight concrete comprises adding lightweight concrete materials comprising an aggregate, water, regenerated FRP powder finely ground into particle diameters of 5-1000μm, etc., to a cement, press-treating the mixture in a mold with a pressure of 10-40kg/cm<2> , aging the molded product, further aging the molded product at a high temperature of 150-210 deg.C, and demolding the molded product before or after aged or after aged at the high temperature. Silica fume, fly ash fibers or asbestos may be added to the lightweight concrete material.
