PURPOSE: To provide a sheet carrying device and an image forming device by which electric charge is removed by an electric charge removing means even if a carrying member is electrified by electric charge and which do not cause paper feeding failure of a sheet by arranging the electric charge removing means to remove electric charge on the surface of a sheet carrying member. CONSTITUTION: When a driving shaft 27 rotates, a feeding roller 13 installed on a core material 26 rotates 26. Sheets P loaded on a pressurizing plate 8 are separated and fed one by one from the uppermost side by an action of a separating pad 12. By the way, when the feeding roller 13 feeds the sheets P, friction is caused in a contact part between both, and a surface of the feeding roller 13 is electrified. However, since a static eliminating brush 33 having a conductive material contacting with the feeding roller 13 is grounded through a support member 32 composed of a conductive member, electrifying electric charge is eliminated from the surface of the feeding roller 13. As a result, mutual friction coefficients of the feeding roller 13 and the sheets P are not reduced since paper powder of about severalμm contained in the sheets P sticks to the surface of the electrified feeding roller 13.
