<p>PURPOSE: To facilitate the work of mounting a trim by providing an end edge guide in a trim mounting tool, forming in a running direction of a roller in this end edge guide a guide groove spread toward the running direction of the roller, and also energizing in a pressure applying direction of the trim by the roller. CONSTITUTION: In the case of mounting a trim 9 of covering a cut part end edge in a panel of door opening part or the like in an automobile body, prior to press fitting the trim 9 by a roller 2 in a trim mounting tool 1, an end edge guide 3 is made to run along a panel end edge 10, to converge in an end edge width a garnish 13 placed in a floating condition. A guide groove 14, spread to open in a direction of running the roller 2 rotated, is formed in this end edge guide 3. A swivel member 4 is energized by a spring 8 in a pressure applying direction of the roller 2, and since the end edge guide 3 is pressed to the panel end edge 10, the garnish 13 is surely converged, so as to smoothly perform mounting the trim 9.</p> |
