<p>PURPOSE: To provide a golf club shaft made of fiber reinforced composite materials, wherein torsional rigidity and flexural rigidity can be improved while maintaining the light weight without increasing the weight. CONSTITUTION: To improve torsional rigidity of a golf club shaft 10, an angle layer 101' whose fiber aligning direction is inclined in relation to a shaft axis is arranged on the outer side, and a thin hoop reinforced layer 103' whose fiber aligning direction makes a right angle with the shaft axis is provided inside an approximately parallel straight layer 102' arranged on the inside and whose fiber aligning direction is approximately parallel. Since the angle layer 101' is arranged on the outside, the high torsional rigidity like a steel can be obtained. Since the straight layer 102' is restricted by the hoop reinforced layer 103, the deformation of the section of the straight layer 102' can be prevented and the separation can be prevented even if bending is applied to the shaft 10, and the flexural rigidity improving effect by the straight layer 102' can be maintained.</p> |
