<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the oxygen deficiency death of aerobic bacteria by supplying air into the sewage in a treating vessel to activate the aerobic bacteria and to decompose the filth, expelling the gases generated from the sewage by blasting and forcibly discharging the gases from a discharge cylinder. CONSTITUTION: The sewage, for example, night soil, is introduced from a connecting pipe 2 and is made to flow over to a stirring tank 1 after the sewage is once stored in a J-shaped pipe 3. The air is supplied from a first blower 7 via a first air supply pipe 5 into the stirring tank 1 to activate the aerobic bacteria and to decompose the filth. Next, the night soil is made to flow over from an outflow pipe 10 to the treating vessel 9 and similarly, the air is supplied from a second blower 18 through a second air supply pipe 16 to decompose the filth. In succession, a fan 13 is controlled according to the level of the night soil to blast the air from a blasting cylinder 12 to expel the carbon dioxide and froth covering the surface of the night soil and to prevent the oxygen deficiency death of the aerobic bacteria. The carbon dioxide, etc., are thereafter forcibly discharged from the discharge cylinder 20.</p> |
