PURPOSE: To prevent carbon from adhering to a supercharger, etc., by installing a carbon trapping chamber connected to a blow-by gas path downstream from one EGR valve. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas circulating system is provided with a first EGR path 21 which leads relatively hot exhaust gas on the upstream side of an exhaust path 3 to an intake path 2 downstream from a supercharger 7 and a second EGR path 22 which leads relatively cold exhaust gas to the intake path 2 on the upstream side from the supercharger 7. Also a chamber 27 is installed on the downstream side from an EGR valve 24 in the second EGR path 22 to which a blow-by gas path 25 is connected. By this, EGR gas and blow-by gas passing the second EGR path 22 are mixed with each other in the chamber 27, and carbon contained in the EGR gas is adsorbed by oil mist contained in the blow-by gas. Thus, while the blow-by gas and EGR gas pass the chamber 27, oil mist adsorbing carbon is separated, and led into the supercharger 7, etc. |
