PURPOSE: To provide a sickle capable of performing various kinds of works with a single sickle, reducing the rough area of planting of lawn, clover, moss, etc., and minimizing the momentum acting on a wrist and fingers. CONSTITUTION: Four parts of tip sawteeth (5), sawteeth (2), a plain blade (3) and a back blade (6) are formed on a base body (1) to construct a multiple sickle. Basically, thrusting has extremely high hitting rate. The weeding sickle applies this basic principle and the tip section (4) of the sickle is sharpen. The front end is placed at about 3mm right of the extension line O-O of the center line of the handle of the sickle. The length of the tip sawteeth is made about 12mm and a sawtooth angle (α) is set at about 15 deg. similar to that of a sickle on the market.
