PURPOSE: To provide an additive (an extreme pressure additive), for a refrigerator, capable of realizing satisfactory lubricity for a long period of time and a refrigerator oil. CONSTITUTION: An additive, for a refrigerator, composed mainly of a 6 C or higher ester compd. derivative and contg. in its molecule at least one group represented by the formula. The additive has a large molecular weight, is not adsorbed on a zeolite adsorbent as a dehydrating agent, and has good compatibility with a polar coolant, such as an alkane fluoride, or a polar refrigerator oil, such as an ester oil. |
