摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain soft nonwoven fabric having high water absorption, and biodegradable with microorganisms by laminating a paper sheet on one side of nonwoven fabric of an aliphatic polyester filament and integrating by entanglement. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin of this biodegradable nonwoven fabric is composed of a glycol and aliphatic dicarboxylic acids or their derivatives. At least one of the aliphatic: dicarboxylic acids is succinic acid or its derivative and the aliphatic polyester is decomposable with microorganisms. Further, the thermoplastic resin has a melt flow rate of 15-70g/10min at 190 deg.C at the load of 2.16kg determined by the method of JISK7210. A filament having a fineness of 1-10 denier is obtained by the melt spinning of the biodegradable resin. Biodegradable nonwoven fabric of filament having a basis weight of 5-30g/m<2> is produced by laminating the obtained filament on a supporting material and self-fusing in regular and intermittent state. A paper sheet of pulp fiber is laminated to one side of the nonwoven fabric and high pressure water jet is applied from the paper sheet to entangle and integrate those materials to obtain the objective biodegradable nonwoven fabric.
