PURPOSE: To stabilize the quality and shape of a cushion material while achieving the reduction of foam residue and the facilitation of treatment by venting the gas generated accompanied by the advance of foaming action to the outside at the time of the foam molding of the cushion material. CONSTITUTION: A mold 28 is equipped with a lower mold 30 molding the surface part of a cushion material 10, the upper mold 32 provided in a freely openable and closable manner with respect to the lower mold 30 and the core mold 34 provided in a freely openable and closable manner with respect to the upper mold 32. An indented part 36 molding a lip part 26 on the rear surface of the cushion material 10 is formed to the core mold 34 and an opening part 36a is provided to the indented part 36. The mold 28 is equipped with the auxiliary core mold 48 fitted and inserted in the opening part 36a of the core mold 34 in a freely openable and closable manner. When the auxiliary core mold 48 is fitted and inserted in the opening part 36a, a fine gap is formed between both contact surfaces.
