PURPOSE: To obtain a sealing material which can fill the gap as the material is softened, when the temperature rises during the use even in the case that a small gap occurs in the joints, when a nozzle is connected, moreover without loosing this flexibility with the passage of time even after curing. CONSTITUTION: A mixture comprising 4-6wt.% of alumina powder, 44-66wt.% of a silica powder, 4-14wt.% of R2 O (R is Na, K) and 18-36wt.% of alumina- silica fibers is combined with 2-5wt.% expressed in terms of outer percentage, of a methylcellulose binder as an organic binder and 40-50wt.% of glycerol or ethylene glycol as an organic solvent based on the mixture. |
