PURPOSE: To smoothly unseal a cover, by providing notches at both sides of the tab base formed at the peripheral edge of a skirt and making thin the nearby position of the top of the notches and weakening the strength, in a container consisting of a shrink cover in which the skirt hung down from the top wall and the periphery thereof is wound in the flange of container body. CONSTITUTION: A shrink cover 1 is composed of the top wall 2, the skirt 3 hung down from the periphery thereof and a tab 4 is provided at the skirt 3 and notches 5, 5 are provided at both basesides of the tab 4. Nearly triangular cone type or semiconical protrusions 5a, 5a are formed in advance in the skirt 3 on forming the shrink cover 1 when the notches 5, 5 are formed. The shrink cover 1 is put on the base and a cylindrical blade having the same inner shape with the outer shape of the shrink cover 1 is lowered to the base to treat the protrusion 5a so as to cut off. In this time, since the blade hits on the top of notch with considerably strong shocks, the top is brought to a fragile and weak state in such an extent that it gets white a little. |
