PURPOSE: To inexpensively provide an ultrasonic Doppler diagnostic system provided with the detecting function of a bloodstream part at a part in parallel with an ultrasonic vibrator plane. CONSTITUTION: A signal line extending from a transmission/reception circuit 32 for Doppler is connected to an ultrasonic vibrator 21 arranged at the i-th position of an ultrasonic vibrator 20 provided in an ultrasonic wave probe 2 and an ultrasonic vibrator 22 arranged at the (i+1)th position located adjacent to the ultrasonic vibrator 21 via an input/output transformer 32a, respectively, and they are constituted in such a way that the ultrasonic vibrator 21 is driven by a pulse A and the ultrasonic vibrator 22 by a pulse B. Therefore, an ultrasonic wave radiated in a direction perpendicularly from the ultrasonic vibrator plane 20A can be suppressed, and propagated so as to be diffused in the periphery. In other words, the sensitivity in the direction perpendicular to the ultrasonic vibrator plane 20A of the ultrasonic wave radiated from the ultrasonic vibrator 20 is low, and that in a direction in parallel with the ultrasonic vibrator plane becomes high. |
