PURPOSE: To produce the subject foamed material having high expansion ratio and useful as a heat-insulation material having flameretardancy, heat-resistance, low smoking tendency and high adhesivity of the rigid surface by using water as a foaming agent. CONSTITUTION: This foamed material is produced by reacting (A) a polyisocyanate compound with (B) a benzylic ether-type phenolic resin (preferably having a hydroxyl value of 350-700mgKOH/g) modified with a polyhydric alcohol or its alkylene oxide adduct or an alkylene oxide adduct of a diamine compound, (C) a polyol and (D) water in the presence of (E) an organotion-based urethane catalyst and (F) an organometallic trimerization catalyst. The amounts of the components C, D, E and F are preferably 25-400 pts.wt., 2-30 pts.wt., 0.5-10 pts.wt. and 0.35-10.5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the component B. |
