PURPOSE: To further improve a burglar preventing function by giving∥an alarm and releasing grid-like locking only by operating a remote control device in the case of emergency and enabling fire escape and rescue through a face lattice unit. CONSTITUTION: An opening and closing face lattice 1 comprises a face lattice unit 1, a window unit 3, a remote control device 4 for releasing locking of the window unit 3 and a warning device 5. In the case of emergency such as intrusion or the like, when an operation handle 4a of the remote control device 4 is drawn out, an electric current is applied to the warning device 5 by the on operation of a switch through an intermediate branch means 42, and secondary operation cables 17, 30 are pulled to put a lattice lock 11 and a window lock 25 in the release state. Thus, in the case of emergency, warning can be automatically given by a waning bell 5, and a face lattice unit 2 and an opening and closing window 22 can be automatically opened to enable fire escape and rescue through the unit and window only by manually drawing an emergency operation handle 40a of the remove control device 4 to this side.
