<p>PURPOSE: To provide a swing bonding method for an elastic component which copes with high speed production capable of obtaining certainly a curved shape of a required elastic component, and especially when an absorbable article is manufactured, is suitable for fixing the elastic component onto a web to be connected with an adhesive. CONSTITUTION: One side or both sides of mutually bonded faces of first and second webs 1', 2' which are continued, are coated with an adhesive 4. The adhesive-coated first and second webs 1', 2' are fed to nip rolls 19 without bringing the adhesive coated surface in contact with the other components. Then, at least one continuous elastic component 3' is forcedly stretched, and the stretched elastic component 3' is reciprocated with a swing guide 17 in a direction crossing at right angles with an advance direction of the first and second webs 1', 2' on this side of the nip rolls 19. The stretched elastic component 3' is fed between the first and second webs 1', 2' while the stretched elastic component 3' is swung thereby, and they are pressurized with the nip rolls 19 to fix the elastic component 3' by bonding between the first and second webs 1', 2'.</p> |
