FIELD: measurement of variable magnetic values, namely in systems for obtaining magnetic resonance images. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of converting an induction value of an outer magnetic interference field, had been measured outside of a zone of action of a working magnetic field of a system for obtaining a magnetic resonance image, to an electric signal; amplifying the signal and transmitting it to the zone of action of the working magnetic field and to a point of measuring of induction of the magnetic interference field, where the above mentioned electric signal is being converted to a magnetic field, compensating influence of the outer magnetic interference field. Apparatus for performing the method includes magnetometer 1 with ferroprobe 2, amplifier 3, compensating coils 4,5, source 6 of current for compensating a dissipation field, four converters 8 of current values unit 9 of torque-free coils; all above mentioned units are mutually connected according to their functions.
