FIELD: technology of manufacture of gaseous-discharge lamps with emitting admixtures of alkali metals. SUBSTANCE: aspect of the invention is in the fact that a plane pinch is preliminarily accomplished in the exhaust tube, and a weighed portion of metal solder is placed in the exhaust tube on the side of exhaust in close vicinity of the pinch; the width and length of the plane pinch, inside diameter of the exhaust tube, and the mass and density of the weighed portion of metal solder are bound up by definite relations. EFFECT: reduced labour content of lamp manufacture and enhanced yield of qualitative lamps.
