FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine-tool-rocker has a frame with a stand that has inclined working surface, balancer with an arc-like contact surface mounted on the inclined working surface of the stand to permit rolling, means for locking balancer on the stand, and safety device for arresting the balancer against lowering when the flexible tie is broken down. The means for locking the balancer on the stand are two flexible ties. The bottom ends of the ties are secured to the balancer. The top ends are secured to the ends of a rocker mounted on two spaced supports. The supports are mounted at the top part of the stand in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the balancer rolling. The rocker is mounted on the supports for permitting rotation with respect to one of the supports when one of the flexible ties is broken down.
