FIELD: reactive power compensation in high-and superhigh-voltage power lines. SUBSTANCE: reactor phase is made of several series-connected coils without steel installed one above another on insulating supports. Each coil has series-connected main and adjusting parts with taps and a switching device. All coils are made, as similar modules, each of them being furnished with a parallel-connected switching device of its own, and coil adjusting part. The reactor provides for direct connection to high- and superhigh-voltage power lines without employment of special high-voltage oil transformers. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. |
