摘要 FIELD: devices for starting steam generators, gas turbine plants, liquid-propellant rocket engines, open-hearth furnaces and other power plants employing energy of burnt high- calorific non-hypergolic propellants, mainly oxygen-hydrogen propellants. SUBSTANCE: device has initiating head and precombustion chamber where ignition spray is formed for main consumption of components in combustion chamber. Fitted in initiating head is spark plug whose central electrode is located in propellant main and inside cylindrical header of oxidizer; part of oxidizer is fed to central electrode through spray injectors. Precombustion chamber has hollow housing whose longitudinal ribs form passages for feeding propellant to outlet nozzle of precombustion chamber; these passages are inclined relative to axis of device at angle of 37 to 52 deg. Even distribution of temperature field in cross section is less by 2.5 to 3 times as compared with prototype. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of ignition and reliable formation of ignition spray.
