Arrangement for producing ceiling surfaces or the like using wooden ribs, which arrangement comprises wooden ribs 6 positioned at a predetermined mutual spacing and support means arranged transversely in relation to these, each wooden rib 6 being fastened to the support means. In the arrangement, the support means consist of metal support strips 1 which have guide projections 5 directed towards the wooden ribs 6 and between which the wooden ribs 6 are positioned. The wooden ribs 6 have fastening grooves 6a, and the arrangement comprises clamps 7 which engage in the fastening grooves 6a and from them over the support strips 1 so that they press the wooden ribs 6 against the support strip 1. <IMAGE>
