FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotor of asynchronous motor has shaft 1 with core 2 made fast on it which slots house rods 3 of winding electrically interclosed by short-circuiting rings 4 having cuts between pairs of adjacent rods 3. Cuts expand closer to center of rotation axis of rotor. Starting resistors 5 are mounted in their upper part for replacement. Ring 6 made of insulation material with guides 7 is made fast on shaft 1. Mobile contacts 8 and return elements 9 are mounted opposite to cuts for radial movement. Invention is intended to change starting torque of asynchronous motor within wide bounds to comply with dynamic characteristics of specific drive.
