The thick rectangular baseplate (A) has a non-slip coating on its underside and a cutout (D) in the middle of one end. At the other end two uprights (M,M') support a pair of cantilevered parallel plexiglass plates (B,C) vertically adjustable on graduated scales (R,R').The lower plate (B) carries two slides (S) underneath for an X-ray film cassette to be inserted for radiography of the patient's skull. A precise angle of rotation of the skull to left or right can be defined by auricular studs (E) movable in a series of holes in the plates between which it is held.
