The seat frame (1) is lined with inflatable cushion cells (2), which are selectively inflated by a pneumatic system to conform to the passenger's body shape and movement. At the end of the cushion is a valve, fed from a common pressure source and sensitive to the passenger's body pressure. The cushion cells can be inflated and connected by mobile obturators (9) which are selectively controlled. The cells can be connected by a common duct (10) and the obturators can be mounted at the level of one end of each cell. |
