The automatic fire extinguisher has a container (1,2) formed of steel with a primary orifice (11) closable by a valve (12) for filling. A second orifice (21) has the shape of a bell and is closed by a material (22) which is fusible at a certain temperature. The fusible material is either a tin or lead based metal alloy. The container is filled with an extinguishing gas under a pressure of between two and three kg/cm2. The gas is composed by a mixture of nitrogen and halon in the same proportion. The container can be spherical as the result of assemble two semi-spheres together.
