The method of recording operations of the numerically controlled machine proceeds in several stages. The first stage decides whether the current process coincides with a past process. The current process is recorded as actual processing if the current process coincides with a previous process and as a trial process if not.The numerically controlled machine is operated from a program stored in a memory (37) that retains instructions from previous processes. A comparison and decision making module (35) compares the current process with previous processes, to decide whether the current process will be recorded (39) as trial or actual processes.
