The support is formed on a sheet of plastic material which is heat formed to provide a number of individual pockets (2) on its face. The pockets are of appropriate dimensions to accept the item being displayed. The edges of the pockets are formed in the plastic sheet, and are raised and slope inward so the displayed item is held firmly in place by its edges (6,15). The edge can extend right round each item to form a frame. The item is pressed into the frame for insertion into the display and pressed out of the frame to remove it from the display. A notch (17) in the frame, midway along the side of the item, simplifies removal.
