A signal (10) recording stage, an extraction stage (11) for determined parts of the signal and a stage (12) for dividing by class for the whole of the signal parts previously extracted are provided. Each class represents a potential trajectory. A selection stage (13,14) selects a sub-assembly of classes which satisfy the constraints linked to the type of network observed. A selection stage (15) selects from amongst the classes representing the potential trajectories those satisfying the constraints to derive the real trajectories of the objects.
