The slab is composed of successive layers. These layers comprise a rigid honeycombed structure (2), formed by a frame (8) spaced by crosspieces (10), an intermediate flexible pad (4) and a facing layer (6).The slab is rigid at its base and can be anchored in the ground by means of its frame honeycombed structure. It is flexible in its upper part because of the flexible mass formed by the intermediate pad and is protected on its surface by the facing layer. The rigid structure is made from a relatively flexible material and the intermediate pad from elastomer. The protective facing can be a hard or flexible layer comprising inert materials which give it a pleasing appearance.
