Heavy metal removal from adsorptive material in flue gas cleaner

Process for the treatment of carbonaceous adsorption material used in a flue gas cleaning reactor where heavy metals in the gas produced in the desorption process are specifically removed. In particular the adsorption material is sepd. into layers so that the first layer facing flue gas flow can be removed and constitute the only material treated in the desorption process.
