A process and device are disclosed for sucking at least one additive into a fluid flow and for mixing the additive with the fluid flow, in particular for mixing fresh air with a fuel flow. The additive is sucked into the fluid by a negative pressure generated by the fluid flow and is intimately mixed with the fluid. The humidity content or relative humidity of the additive is reduced before the additive is mixed with the fluid.
