Prodn. of a ceramic sintered body comprises: (a) preparing dross from a ceramic powder, solvent, binder and a plasticiser; (b) producing foils from the dross; (c) applying filaments made of residue-free combustible material on one foil; (d) forming a stack of foils so that the filaments are covered; (e) pressing the stack together; and (f) heating to a temp. at which the binder, the plasticiser and the filaments combust in an O2-contg. atmos.; and (g) sintering.
