In a vacuum brake servo fitted with a pneumatically pressure-compensated control valve, to minimise the vacuum-dependent power components acting on the valve body without structural modifications to the control housing containing the control valve, the invention proposes that both the radially inward and radially outward boundary of a pressure compensation chamber (17) bounded in the control housing (5) by the valve body (10) take the form of a guide component (21) guiding the valve body (10).
