<p>A flat reluctance type three-phase motor which can output a large torque and can rotate at a high speed is constituted of a flat fixed armature (16) having magnetic poles the number of which is an integral multiple of three on its outer periphery and first-, second-, and third-phase armature coils wound around the magnetic poles, salient poles of a magnetic body rotor (1) fixed to the outside inner periphery of a cup-shaped rotor (3), and an energization control circuit which produce first-, second-, and third-phase position detecting signals by detecting the positions of the salient poles and allows the motor to rotate at a high speed by controlling quick energization of the armature coils of the first, second, and third phases based on the position detecting signals.</p> |
