The invention relates to a viscosimeter and a process for viscosity control in fluids. It is possible by the combination of two prior art flowmeters, a suspension flowmeter (1) and a flowmeter (2) with a rotary measuring unit (3), continuously to detect and show a viscosity via a control and display unit and keep it constant by means of a regulating device (5). Such viscosimeters and control processes are especially applicable to rotogravure and flexographic printing machines.
