Prepn. of a polyurethane- or polyisocyanate-based foam prod. with a thermal conductivity less than 0.020(0.019) W/m.K uses a CFC-free propellant contg. tetramethyl silane. Pref. a mixt. of tetramethyl silane and pentane is used.
