The invention relates to the high-voltage changeover switches which are used to apply the high voltage to two X-ray tubes alternately. …The invention lies in the fact that each of the four interrupters constituting a changeover switch comprises a fixed stud (f) connected to an input terminal of the high voltage and a moving stud (m) connected to an output terminal by a curved flexible blade (52), the displacement of which is obtained by a hinged arm (55) which is actuated by an insulating sleeve (41) surrounding the blade (52). The rotation of the sleeve (41) in one direction brings about contact through an orifice (58) in the wall of the sleeve (41) whereas rotation in the reverse direction brings about the separation of the contacts and the interposition of the insulating wall between the parted contacts. …The invention is applicable to radiology installations. ……
