Work table with tilt adjustable work top resting on support frame

The work-top (20) can be adjusted in relation to the table frame (10) on the edge nearest, and on the edge furthest from, the user. The work-top is guided at right-angles to the user in horizontal guides (26) next to the user, and in guides (24) nearest the user which slope up towards the user.The guides are positioned on two rails (22) on both sides of, and integral with, or detachable from, the table frame. The guides are formed by grooves in the rails. The underside of the work-top has catches (32,34) fitting into the grooves and positioned on fitments (28,30) fixed to the underside of the work-top. A footrest (36) has a tilt adjustable tread plate (38) joined by a Bowden wire (40) to the work-top.
