Milling tool for machining workpiece

The shaft and head parts of the milling tool interengage rotationally. They are secured through an engagement pin (22) and at least a further engagement pin (22) is provided with an entrainment face (18) and centring face (24). The entrainment face of each engagement pin changes through a guide face (40) into the centring face (24) of each other engagement pin (22).For fixing the head part on the shaft part the relevant engagement pin has a bore (28) with inner thread (30) whose longitudinal axis (32) has a stagger (34) offset from the centre axis (36) of this pin. The stagger is aligned in the turning direction so that with engagement of each finishing cutter (16) in the work piece the finishing forces which arise are taken up through the entrainment faces (18).
